I love trees; they are full of life, both above and below ground.
There is a tree in my backyard, an Australian species called a grevillea. This tree is home to many different small birds.
Many mornings I drink my coffee outside and watch all the busy birds. Very busy! Birds fly in and out all day long.
Because it’s so busy in this tree, I call it the Tree Hotel.
I think my grevillea is very old because the trunk is thick for the species. Now the grevillea is starting to bloom with red flowers.
El grevillea no es caducifolio. No hojas caen. The grevillea is not deciduous. No leaves fall. But when the flowers fall, they create a beautiful carpet on the ground.
